NBA Schedule Monday March 2: Celtics Look to End Two-Game Skid Against Pistons, Heat Host Warriors

There have been a lot of questions surrounding the Boston Celtics over the past few weeks and their recent home loss to the New Jersey Nets didn’t help matters any but Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen haven’t expressed much concern and they’ll be looking to get back on track Tuesday night when they travel to take on the Detroit Pistons.

Boston has dropped two in a row but they are one of the best road teams in the NBA and they’ll be facing a Pistons team that is already out of the playoff race and has lost three in a row.

Dwyane Wade will need to play out of his mind if the Miami Heat are to make the playoffs as the team currently holds the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and they could face a tough challenge tonight as the Golden State Warriors come to town. Golden State likes to put up some points with Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry never turning down a shot but Ellis won’t play Tuesday, a clear advantage for the Heat.

Kevin Durant has been the story of the NBA season as he has his Oklahoma City Thunder in playoff contention and has received MVP buzz averaging 29.7 points per game along with 7.6 boards. The Thunder will be looking for their third straight win as they host the Sacramento Kings, a team that has won just five road games this year.

Kobe Bryant continues to push for another NBA title as his Los Angeles Lakers are still fighting for the league’s best record. They can keep pace with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday as they host the Indiana Pacers, a team that has struggled all year.
