Goldcorp Inc. (USA) (NYSE:GG) surges 2.34% to $39.32 on 2.47 million shares after the company announced that it has declared its third monthly dividend payment for 2010 of $0.015 per share. Shareholders of record at the close of business on March 11, 2010 will be entitled to receive payment of this dividend on March 19, 2010.

Kinross Gold Corporation (USA) (NYSE:KGC) soars 3.13% to $19.11 on 1.60 volume shares.

Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE:NEM) is also up 3.02% to $51.80 on 3.59 million shares after Western Pacific Resources Corp. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Newmont Mining Corporation to receive historical data for the Mineral Gulch property, formerly known as the Black Pine Mine.
