For the first time since 1998 Ford US sales outpaced General Motors car sales. Ford sales rose 43% in February of 2010 due to high demands of the Ford motor line. Toyota’s recent humiliating brake issue has paved the way for American car companies to draw consumer sales their way.
Ford also commented on the renewed demand from the rental-car market and other corporate fleets demand for the low priced Ford motor line. According to Ford, car sales climbed 54% with purchasers looking for the most economically fuel-efficient vehicles.
