Body of Nailah Franklin Found Near Forest Preserve

The body of 28-year-old Nailah Franklin was found Thursday morning near a forest preserve in Calumet City, Illinois, just over a week after she disappeared. 

Franklin was a pharmaceutical sales rep for Eli Lilly and was reported missing when she failed to make it to a work meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 19. On Friday her car was discovered in Hammond, Indiana.

Prior to her disappearance Franklin had contacted police to file a report about receiving threatening phone calls from a former boyfriend. Police have interviewed a man who dated Franklin but have not named him as a suspect.
