Chelsea Clinton Photograph to be Pulled from New York City Restaurant

Osso Buco, owner of New York City restaurant Nino Selimaj, has been requested to remove a photograph he has hanging in his establishment. The photograph in question was taken five years ago and shows Buco standing alongside Chelsea Clinton but apparently the owner never had permission from the 27-year-old to display the picture. Now Bill Clinton’s lawyer wants the photo removed or legal action will be taken.

Rather than take the photo down Buco has placed the letter alongside the photo for all to see. The picture is currently on display in a front window of the Greenwich Village eatery.

According to the letter Douglas J. Band states “We ask that you immediately remove that picture and any and all pictures displaying Ms. Clinton. We reserve the right to exercise any and all options available to us if you refuse to comply.”

The letter goes on to state that Chelsea Clinton, as a private citizen “was not consulted prior to this picture being displayed, and thus, her permission was not given for you to do so. While she may have dined at your restaurant, this does not serve as an endorsement.”
