Smashing Pumpkins Fan Dies At Concert in Vancouver

Rock band Smashing Pumpkins have recently released a statement to address the death of a twenty year old fan that passed away at their last concert in Vancouver earlier this week.

The 20 year old male, who was from Richmond, British Columbia was taken to the hospital immediately after passing out at the concert and died later at a hospital Tuesday night , September 25,2007.

A Smashing Pumpkins representative released this statement “The Smashing Pumpkins were deeply saddened to learn about the passing of a young man who attended their Vancouver show Monday night. As they and everyone else await news from the investigation into the nature of his passing, the band wants to express their sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”

Other sources state that “Regardless of how it happened, a 20-year-old who came to enjoy a night of music is gone; It's extremely sad and very tragic."
