Tania Head 9/11 story a lie?
Tania Head’s tragic story of survival on September 11th touched the hearts of many and landed her a position as president of the World Trade Center Survivors Network. Now her story is being questioned after the company she claimed she worked for didn’t know her, and her ‘fiancé’s’ family had never seen nor heard of her.
Tania told a story about a heroic man who saved her and several others, and a dying man giving her his wedding band to take to his wife. Tania later returned the ring to the widow. She claims she was baldly burned on the 78th floor of the north tower and her fiancé was killed in the south tower.
She gave tours of ground zero while recounting her tale to many, met with senior politicians, and told thousands her story. Now her name as well as her story is believed to be fake. Tania was born Alicia head and the man, who she claimed to be her fiancé, was never engaged and never took a trip as Tania said.
Tania’s story is being discredited and she has now hired a lawyer and insists “I have done nothing illegal.” “We are unable to confirm the veracity of her connection to the events or September 11,” said the September 11 Families Association, who she also said she was linked to.
She was removed from her position as the president of the World Trade Center Survivors Network and she is no longer a tour guide.
