Tanya Rider had been missing for eight days and her husband, Tom Rider, had been at the King County, Washington sheriff’s office readying himself for a lie-detector test when police finally located the woman after tracing her location from a cell phone signal.
Rider was found alive after more than one week stuck in her car following an accident in which her Honda Element tumbled down a steep ravine. When police discovered the SUV they had to cut the roof off to get to the 33-year-old woman who was suffering from severe dehydration.
