American rock band Van Halen launched their highly anticipated tour on Thursday, September 27, 2007 in Charlotte at the Bobcat Arena.
Van Halen’s opening performance in Charlotte marked the first time in 22 years since David Lee Roth toured with the members of Van Halen. Roth is fronting the band that now includes Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen. During their “Comeback Performance” with David Lee Roth the rock band performed ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Somebody Get Me a Doctor’, ‘Pretty Woman’, ‘And the Cradle Will Rock’ plus many more.
Following their sold out performance in Charlotte, Van Halen will also perform in North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum on September 29, 2007.
According to sources Van Halen concert tickets are already sold out in Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC.
