Nissan Issues Recall For Brake and Fuel Gauge Problems

Nissan is recalling 539, 864 vehicles due to brake-pin and fuel-gauge problems. The company is recalling the Titan, Armada and Infiniti QX56 built from 2005 to 2008, and the Frontier, Pathfinder and Xterra built from January to March 2006 and October 2007 to January 2008.

The brake pedals could have a faulty pin that may cause the pedal to wobble and affect the fuel gauge in reading the correct amount of fuel.

Nissan blames the problems on its suppliers. “Nissan has determined that a manufacturing error on the part of the supplier is at the root of the issue,” the company said.
