Diamondbacks and Upton Close to Deal

Right fielder Justin Upton is reportedly close to agreeing on a new contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks.  The alleged deal would be for six years and around $50 million.  Upton will not be eligible for free agency until age 28 if this comes to pass, as the contract would cover his three arbitration years and his first two free-agent years.
