There is no agreed upon criteria in determining who should be invited to a political debate or forum and this often causes grief for those that are shunned.
The Harkin Steak Fry is an important venue as we head into the Iowa caucus and one notable figure, Dennis Kucinich, was not invited.
The Kucinich campaign fought back with a press release dated September 15, 2007 claiming that the party leaders are "trying to rig the game". These may seem to be pretty harsh words but according to the analyst at USAElectionPolls.com -- they have a legitimate gripe.
The analyst uses as his argument the fact that Senators Joe Biden and Chris Dodd were invited and Kucinich was not -- Kucinich is ahead of those two candidates in so many polls.
