Led Zeppelin Does Not Plan To Go On Tour After London Performance

Rock band Led Zeppelin are set to perform at London’s O2 Arena on November 26, 2007, for a tribute concert in memory of Atlantic Records founder, Ahmet Ertegun.

After a high demand in concert tickets for their one night “Comeback” performance several rumors sparked leading many fans hoping for a Led Zeppelin reunion tour next year. The band’s lead vocalist Robert Plant recently confirmed that “their will be no Led Zeppelin tour.”

Plant also commented on the reason behind the one night performance in London, “We need to do one last great show, because we’ve done some shows and they were crap.”

Led Zeppelin members performing at the one night concert include Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones, along with new drummer Jason Bonham, replacing his late father John Bonham.

The benefit concert will follow behind the release of the bands new greatest hits collection, entitled ‘Mothership’ which will be released on November 12, 2007.
