Beyonce Cancels Concert in Malaysia Due to Dress Code

Singer and actress Beyonce who is also the girlfriend to rap mogul Jay Z, recently canceled her upcoming concert in Malaysia in November due to “scheduling conflict" and the countries strict rules on the performer’s dress code.

The dress code in Malaysia has reportedly interfered with other musicians concerts in the past, including Gwen Stefani, who reluctantly agreed to cover up to meet the country's strict dress codes earlier this year.

Official guidelines regarding performances in Malaysia state that female artists must cover up from the top of the chest to the knees.

Performers are also forbidden from shouting, jumping or embracing members of the audience during the concert.
