School Shootings and Gun Control: Good For The Country Foundation Releases Its First White Paper.

Anti-violence progams go too far, amounting to abuses of the law.

The Good For The Country Foundation – a newly formed patriotic philanthropy to educate in the public interest – has issued its first White Paper. It is titled How American Gun Control Is Adverse To The Public Interest In An Abuse Of Due Process.

"Some things may be a matter of opinion," observes Foundation CEO John Longenecker, "But deterring officials from their oath of office for mere opinion is hardly in the public interest. Holding officials to their oath of office is no opinion, it’s good for the entire country because it is their oath of office all citizens expect."

Where officials are deterred from their oath of office is in going against an inalienable right on the say-so of activists purporting anti-violence goals. Activists for gun owners have the bulk of legal authority in the constitution on their side, which Longenecker believes is actually everyone’s side, and more. The White Paper shows how Gun Control has always been and will continue to be against the public interest by hiding citizen authority to act.

What is worrisome is the public remarks of some officials in defiance of rights, up to and including outright defiance of court orders.

The thrust of the White Paper is in pointing out to heads of households – educating – how gun control has begun to affect all homes now, and how anti-hate programs have infiltrated various institutions to the detriment of communities without even touching violent criminals as claimed.

"This is no longer a matter of everyone’s making a little sacrifice," adds Longenecker, "It’s a matter of emergency now as all sorts of anti-violence programs compete with liberty for their very survival, political survival."
