Ian MacKaye is not dead

Ian MacKaye reports that he is not dead after it was reported that he died Monday night at a Baltimore hospital. MySpace and Wikipedia even posted reports that the frontman of Fugazi and Minor Threat was dead.

“I am still alive,” the punk singer says. He says he and his record company, Dischord Records, we bombarded with calls after his ‘death’ was reported. MacKaye said he had the Wikipedia report removed.

 

“I am happy to report that I am not dead,” MacKaye said.
