Several Passenger Ships Stuck in Ice in Baltic Sea

Several ships, a number of which are carrying thousands of passengers, have become stuck in ice in the Baltic Sea.

 

According to reports the ships have been stuck between Stockholm and the Alan Islands, leaving passengers and crew stranded with no hope of being freed for hours.

 

Ships have been having a difficult time navigating the Baltic Sea this winter as they have been dealing with the worst freeze in nearly two decades.
