Isaac Hanson of Hanson brothers rock group hospitalized

Isaac Hanson, the oldest member to the Hanson Brother rock group, was hospitalized Tuesday night and diagnosed with pulmonary embolism. Pulmonary embolism occurs when blood clots in the lungs and can be deadly if not caught early.

The 26-year-old singer remained in stable condition Wednesday night. “After last night’s performance in Dallas, Isaac was complaining of sever pain in his shoulders and chest. He underwent several tests throughout the night and has been diagnosed with pulmonary embolism…Isaac is currently undergoing treatment and will be re-evaluated shortly by doctors,” said a rep for Isaac and his brothers, Taylor and Zachary Hanson.

“We appreciate thoughts and prayers that have been out there for him. We want the tour to go on, so you know we are working steadfastly to see how long he’s going to need to rest,” said Taylor Hanson.
