Lead paint prompts Baby Einstein recall

Almost 35,000 Baby Einstein toy blocks were recalled by Walt Disney Company after the paint used on the toys were discovered to have excessive amounts of lead paint. 

The recalled product is called Baby Einstein Discover and Play Color Blocks, and is only one of many Disney toys that have been recalled due to lead paint. They also recalled Barbie Dolls that contained too much lead.

“Moving forward all Baby Einstein products will be part of out voluntary safety compliance process,” said the company.
