More the 72,000 cans of Campbell’s Soup is being recalled after the company believes the cans may contain pieces of hard plastic. The recalled product is in an 18.8 ounce can and will have the code ‘Jul 08 2009 0797’ on it.
Consumers are advised to return any can of Campbell’s Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar and Bacon Bits to the store it was bought from. The soup was shipped to stores across 24 states. A refund or exchange will be given for any returned soup.
Three people have reported minor injuries in the mouth area after eating the soup. The company is concerned about a choking hazard.
