Lil Wayne Arrested After Boise Concert on Felony Charges

Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested early Saturday morning following a performance at the Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.

Lil Wayne was nabbed by Boise City Police and booked at the Ada County Jail on felony charges of being a fugitive. Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., the performer’s real name, had a warrant out for his arrest in Fulton County, Ga. The 25-year-old had been arrested in Atlanta on a drug possession charge.

An arraignment and extradition hearing will be held on Monday.
