Radiohead Releases ‘In Rainbows’ Via Internet Today

English rock band Radiohead released their seventh studio album as an MP3 download on October 10, 2007.  ‘In Rainbows’ is scheduled to be released on December 3, 2007 as a ‘discbox’ and will be available on the bands website. The actual album will be released on a CD in January 2008.

The rock band Radiohead which consist of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’ Brien, Phil Selway and Colin Greenwood, reportedly started working on ‘ The Rainbows’ in 2005.

No figures are yet available for how many downloads have been sold for the album, or the  amount paid under the band's ‘honesty box’ pricing policy. According to the Official U.K. Charts Company the album will not be U.K. chart eligible.
