NBA All-Star forward Kevin Garnett will take on his former team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wednesday at 2:30pm in his second preseason game. This will be the first time he has ever played against his former team, whom he was traded from this offseason to the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics-Timberwolves matchup is part of the NBA Europe Live tour. They will play each other in London, England.
The Celtics started the tour in Rome with a win against the Toronto Raptors, 89-85.
Garnett had 19 points and 16 rebounds in his Celtics debut. Forward Paul Pierce added 21 points and guard Ray Allen had just 10 points on 4-13 shooting.
The "trio" looked good in their first game together, which spoiled the homecoming of Toronto Raptors forward Andrea Bargnani, who had 13 points and three rebounds in the contest.
The game will be televised on ESPN2.
