Justin Timberlake and Beyonce top American Music Awards nominations

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce Knowles have topped the American Music Awards nominations. Timberlake has been nominated in the pop and rock category for male artist along with Akon and Timbaland. Timerlake’s album ‘FutrueSex/Lovesouds’ was nominated in the pop and rock category as well as the soul, rhythm and blues category.

Beyonce was also nominated in the pop rock category for female artist. Also named in that category are Avril Lavigne and Fergie. Beyonce’s album, ‘B’Day,’ was nominated in the rhythm and blues section.

 

Other nominations include Linkin Park, Daughtry, and the Plain White T’s.
