Britney Spears new album ‘Blackout’ set for early release this month

Britney Spears’ new album ‘Blackout’ was set for a November release, but the album’s release date has been moved up to this month. Her record label announced ‘Blackout’ would be released October 30 due to the leaks of the album on the internet.

The music video for her new single ‘Gimme More’ was leaked on the internet before it was set to debut on MTV. “Due to these numerous unauthorized leaks, the label is doing everything possible to prevent and avoid any further illegal distribution of songs including moving up the release date of the album to October 30,” a rep confirmed in a statement.

Meanwhile, Spears still has not regained custody of her two sons after losing them to ex-husband Kevin Federline. The troubled singer had her first visit with them this week. A court ordered supervisor had to watch Spears with her children the entire time.
