Asa Coon, 14-Year-Old Freshman, Identified as Cleveland’s SuccessTech Academy Shooter

Asa Coon, the 14-year-old freshman responsible for the shooting spree at Cleveland’s SuccessTech Academy, had apparently entered the school looking for revenge after being suspended just two days earlier.

Coon’s suspension was the result of a fight he was involved in with another student after the two argued about the existence of God. After the fight was broken up by a teacher Coon swore that he would get his revenge.

Two days later Coon entered the school with a pair of .38 caliber revolvers and it didn’t take long for him to find his first target. Coon got into an altercation with another student who then punched the 14-year-old in the face. Coon responded by shooting the student in the side.

He then made his way up the three floors of the building and hit another student and two teachers before putting one of the guns in his mouth and pulling the trigger.

The two teachers hit by gunfire were listed in stable condition while the two students shot were not seriously wounded.
