Betty Nguyen Leaves CNN for CBS Morning News

CNN weekend anchor Betty Nguyen is moving to CBS. Nguyen, anchor of CNN Newsroom, will move to CBS Morning News on Thursday, March 11. She will also report for The Early Show.

“She has a great on-air presence and brings a tremendous amount of hard news reporting and anchoring experience to CBS News,” CBS Sports and News President Sean McManus said in a press release.

Nguyen joined CNN in 2004 after starting her career at to CBS affiliates in Texas.
