Teresa Brewer, American Songstress, Dies at Age of 76

Teresa Brewer, the US singer who rose to fame in the 1950s with hit the hit songs “Gonna Get Along Without Ya Now” and “Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall,” has past away at the age of 76.

Brewer died at her home in New Rochelle, New York on Wednesday from a neuromuscular disease.

She is credited with recording close to 600 song titles and sang with such stars as Tony Bennett, Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and Mel Torme.
