DestinationVillas.com conducted a recent poll of its vacation travelers, asking what were the top three criteria when searching for a vacation rental home. The results of the poll have just been released by DestinationVillas.com and includes a long list of preferences.
Views, housekeeping services, pool and Jacuzzi’s, air-conditioning, luxury amenities and proximity to resort attractions topped the list. When asked to prioritize those parameters, guests unanimously found view was the single most important consideration, personal tastes and style aside.
Proximity to attractions came in second in terms of important features that vacation rental guests look for. Guests sited the preference of not wanting to drive to the beach, slopes or theme parks was an important consideration in choosing one vacation villa over another.
The third most important feature vacation rental guests look for in a vacation home or vacation condo was luxury amenities. Better furnishings, upgraded kitchens, granite countertops and wireless internet services topped the list.
