Bahrain Prepares for Music Festival

Bahrain is set to hold a music festival with music inspired from China, Turkey and Syria.

The 16th annual Bahrain International Music Festival is being held from October 27, 2007 to November 1, 2007 at the Bahrain National Museum's Cultural Hall.

The festival is open to the public and other reported countries that are set to participate in the music festival include Jordan and Egypt.

Bahrain music festival representatives stated that the purpose of the event is to promote music from around the world.

"I think music builds our soul and also we see the culture of others. At the same time music is a universal language we can all appreciate.”
