One Summer Camp Stays Strong in Tough Economy
Representatives of SuperCamp say that the summer program is filling up fast, in part, because their California summer camps attract students from throughout the country and from several other countries, as well.

The concept, while new at the time, caught on quickly and has grown to the point where it has graduated over 50,000 student. In fact, today, the program is seeing many second-generation SuperCampers, as parents who attended in the 1980's are now enrolling their kids.
This year SuperCamp is holding camps at Stanford and Cal State San Marcos. At both locations programs for students entering grades 6-8 and grades 9-12 are being offered. Additionally, Standford will be host to a unique summer camp for parents, called Parent Weekend. This three-day program gives parents of SuperCamp students an overview of the program and tips on how to support their kids throughout the school year.
