Twins Closer Nathan Could Miss Season

Joe Nathan of the Minnesota Twins has been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow and may require season-ending surgery.  Losing a closer like Nathan would be disastrous for the Twins, as not many experienced free agent closers are available.  Nathan will decide whether or not to have surgery within two weeks and will receive a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews.
