Amy Winehouse: ‘Life is too short to stop drinking and doing drugs’

“Life’s short – just do it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes,” she says. “I always say I don’t regret things and I don’t say sorry, but I do really. I believe strongly in fate. I believe that everything happens for a reason.”

Winehouse admits she is insecure about her appearance, and that’s why she drinks so much. “I’m quite an insecure person. I’m very insecure about the way I look. I mean, I’m a musician I’m not a model. The more insecure I feel the more I drink,” she says.

Winehouse was recently arrested for procession of drugs, but says she will never quit her wild ways. She also overdosed on drugs earlier this year and admits she was “self destructive.”

Meanwhile, her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil is reportedly on the rocks. Friends of the troubled singer’s are urging her split with Civil because he reportedly encourages her to do drugs.
