The 8th Annual FIRST Robotics Competition Chesapeake Region has been scheduled to take place at the Baltimore Convention Center March 12-13. The competition will feature students from 49 high school teams from ten states. 24 of the teams are from Maryland.

The teams will bring their robots to the competition to compete in the BREAKAWAY challenge in which goals are scored by suing soccer balls and each game is finished with robots suspended in air.
