Famed radio personality and host of the public radio show “A Prairie Home Companion” Garrison Keillor was provided with a restraining order against a Georgia woman after a St. Paul. Minn. judge determined her actions warranted such an order.
According to claims made by Keillor, Andrea Campbell began harassing him shortly after an April appearance in Columbus, Ga. where he broadcast a live performance of “A Prairie Home Companion.”
Keillor said he received an alligator foot as well as dead beetles in the mail from Campbell and several emails that contained explicit material described as “disturbing, unintelligible and rambling.”
By July, Keillor said Campbell appeared at his house at which time his wife field a police report.
In her own defense, Campbell has denied the allegations and insisted that her attempts at communicating with Keillor were misinterpreted and she was only trying to show appreciation for his talent.
