Horno Fire Scorches 6000 Acres at Camp Pendleton

The Horno Fire at Camp Pendleton has been responsible for scorching 6000 acres on the military base as well as led to the overnight closing of a major section on the I-5 between San Clemente and Oceanside overnight in Southern California.

While officials have been able to open southbound lanes on the I-5 early this morning firefighters are still setting back fires around the area in an attempt to create a fire break.
