Lil Wayne Sued by Jewelers for His Unpaid Bills

According to the Miami Herald Newspaper, New Orleans based Jack Sutton Fine Jewelry has filed a lawsuit against Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.

The complaint alleges that Lil Wayne currently owes $146,000 on a $170,000 jewelry purchase.

Jack Sutton sold Wayne the jewelry, and said that the rapper agreed to buy the $138,000 diamond ring and $32,000 gold and diamond necklace after he described the pieces by phone earlier this year.

Lil Wayne has not responded publicly to the current lawsuit, but his lawyers have recently confirmed that the rapper has bought jewelry from Jack Sutton for years.

Lil Wayne is also fighting drug charges in Atlanta, gun possession in New York and two civil suits in Baltimore.
