Jay-Z Set to Appear on VH1

Rapper and entrepreneur Shawn Jay-Z Carter recently did a taping for VH1’s ‘Storytellers’ special.

The show which is entitled, ‘VH1 Storytellers: Jay-Z: Life of an American Gangster,’ is set to premiere on November 8, 2007.

During the taping, Jay-Z performed eight songs off of his upcoming album, ‘American Gangster’.

The album will be released on November 6, 2007. ‘American Gangster’ the movie is set to include appearances by Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, and T.I.  and Common and is will hit theaters on November 2, 2007.
