Kelis Dropped from Jive Records

Singer and wife of rapper Nas was recently dropped from Jive Records.

Kelis's manager told Entertainment Weekly that the raspy voiced singer is working on an independent dance album with singer Cee-Lo.

The singer is also in negotiation for hosting the television show ‘Project Runway’.

Kelis is known for hit sings such as ‘Bossy’ and ‘Caught Out There’.
