The Monday Night Wars Return

TNA Takes On WWE With Hulk Hogan at the Helm

It is an exciting time to be a professional wrestling fan.  For the first time in nearly a decade, two Monday night shows are airing head-to-head.  Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is taking on World Wrestling Entertainment’s Monday Night Raw in a situation very reminiscent of the famed “Monday Night Wars” of the mid to late 90s, in which World Championship Wrestling and the WWE engaged in a fierce, years-long ratings battle.

Led by the Legendary Hulk Hogan and former WCW President Eric Bischoff, TNA Impact received a 1.0 rating in its first week on Monday night as compared to WWE Raw’s rating of 3.4.  Although it would seem like TNA still poses no real threat to Vince McMahon’s mammoth organization, Spike TV was pleased with TNA’s results and it appears that they will retain their Monday night timeslot.

Hollywood Collectibles, a store specializing in the sale of authentic sports memorabilia, offers wrestling memorabilia signed by many of the people involved in the new Monday Night Wars.  This includes autographed photos and other miscellaneous memorabilia of wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sting, Rob Van Dam, and Bret Hart.  We also carry photos signed by people instrumental in the outcome of the original Monday Night Wars, such as Goldberg, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and The Rock.  All memorabilia at Hollywood Collectibles comes with a certificate of authenticity.
