NBA Schedule Thursday March 11: Dwight Howard and Orlando Magic Look for Seventh Straight While Bulls Desperate for a Win

The NBA has three games on the schedule for Thursday night and with the Atlanta Hawks traveling to face the Washington Wizards, the Chicago Bulls on the road against the Orlando Magic and the Portland Trail Blazers heading to Golden State to face the Warriors.

The Hawks have dropped two straight and have seen their hopes of catching the Magic in the Southeast dim but they could still pass the Boston Celtics for the number three seed in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards have dropped four straight and look ready for the season to end.

Perhaps the most interesting game of the night will be when the Orlando Magic shoot for their seventh straight win in a matchup with the Chicago Bulls. Orlando looks to be the number two seed in the Eastern Conference while the Bulls are currently sitting on the outside looking in. Chicago is just a game out of the playoffs and with a few wins in a row they could become the sixth seed.

Offense will almost certainly be on display in Golden State when the Warriors host the Portland Trail Blazers. Golden State trails only the Phoenix Suns in points per game but also allow the most points per game. That could play into the favor of a Trail Blazers squad that has plenty of offensive weapons as well as the stingiest defense in the Western Conference.
