Music producer David Foster lost his home in Malibu wildfires. His home was equipped with his studio, which was responsible for several Grammy Award-winning hits.
The 57-year old Canadian-born producer has worked with such stars as Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Destiny's Child, John Lennon and Kenny Rogers, to name a few.
He has recently been in the news for producing the first single "Body Language" for The Hills star Heidi Montag, which featured her boyfriend and co-star Spencer Pratt.
Foster was also featured in the 2005 Fox reality series Princes of Malibu as he raises his two stepsons, Brandon and Brody Jenner, the two sons from a previous marriage between Foster's now ex-wife Linda Thompson and Olympic swimmer Bruce Jenner. Brody also co-starred on The Hills.
Ironically, Bruce Jenner is now on a VH1 reality show about his family, which includes Brody and stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, who is the new December cover girl for Playboy Magazine. The show is called Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kardashian is the daughter of Bruce Jenner's wife, Kris.
Foster has won 14 Grammy Awards and been nominated 41 times in total.
