Michigan Income Tax Return Expert Releases Q&A Web Videos

Local Michigan tax company embraces web video to educate consumers

The tax time is upon us in Michigan and many residents and business owners have questions that range from the simple to the complex. The 2010 tax season has created a lot of confusion as new tax laws have been included. Without the advice of an expert Michigan residents have no choice but to go to the tax prep stations in their local strip malls. That would be the case up until recently. Legendary IRS tax expert, Markwei Boye, from Smart Business PLCC has seen the power of the web and believes in it wholeheartedly. So this year Boye did something unconventional and embraced the power of web video to get his ideas across to the masses.

Markwei Boye has partnered with online marketing gurus, Ted Cantu and has created an informative series that gets to the real issue of taxes, IRS audits, and how to protect your assets. These videos were shot over a two day period that includes a web show series called, “Tax Talk” and is now available on YouTube and Hot Metro Finds.com. These videos show the viewers how to do an amended return, how to form a business in Michigan, the correct way to handle deductions and what to do if you are picked for a tax audit. This is a free service for Michigan residents and to anyone who has access to a computer.

"We answer all questions concerning a
Michigan income tax return. We are informing people what to expect and it is designed  to educate and inform our audience. We take the fear out of taxes." adds online marketer Ted Cantu.

“The idea was to create a free valuable resource to online searchers on the web. The overall effect has been amazing. We have seen many people get actively involved on tools like Facebook and Twitter and see Markwei speak live. We were also pleased to see Smart Business PLLC get so much attention on Google. This company understands the value of good web communication and using it as a platform to reach even more people.” Adds web video producer, Ted Cantu.

The videos were created in a closed indoor set. The talk show environment in itself is a green technology and that is something that Michigan is beginning to be well known for. The delivery of the media to the people is also worth noting. Web video is not dependent on traditional media channels such as radio, television or broadcasting. The clips get sent straight to the web and appear on the search engines.

The web video clips are extremely important for Michigan business owners who need to file this year. With the changing economic conditions it is important to know about all the important tax changes that have taken place. “If I had to mention all of the changes that have taken place in the tax code we would be here all day. This is why we have put all of our top IRS tax questions and answers on video and had them released on the web.” Says Markwei Boye.
