Chicago Bulls in Trouble

Last night was not a great night for the Chicago Bulls. The Orlando Magic, led by such greats as Dwight Howard and Vince Carter, defeated the Bulls 111-82 in game that marked Chicago’s sixth consecutive loss and Orlando’s seventh consecutive win. The game never really looked too good for the Bulls, and things only got worse when star player Derrick Rose fell hard on his wrist after attempting a shot against the immovable Howard. The Bulls have had a weak season, and their loss against 4-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard and the Magic did not make things any better. Derrick Rose is the 2009 NBA Rookie of the Year and a 2010 All-Star, but his sprained wrist may keep him from achieving greatness for a while.

The Chicago Bulls were a highly prominent team during the Michael Jordan years, during which they won 6 NBA Finals. Despite his recent injury and a weak season with the Bulls, Derrick Rose is likely to become one of the most dominant forces in the NBA, and he may eventually bring another NBA Finals title to Chicago.
