Shaq and Wife Settle Divorce

Shaquille O’Neal has finally reached a divorce settlement with his wife Shaunie. The couple married in December of 2002 and have four children. In 2007, O’Neal filed for divorce from his wife in Miami-Dade County. The divorce filing was eventually withdrawn, and Shaunie said the couple were back together. But, in November of 2010, Shaunie filed for legal separation, stating irreconcilable differences as the reason. According to Shaunie’s lawyer, Florida courts will have jurisdiction to divorce the couple and will handle issues regarding property and spousal support, while California courts will have jurisdiction over child support issues.
