Author Champion of Pets and All Animals

Fans are calling The Spirituality of Pets by James Taylor the best Christmas gift book of 2007

The book is flying out of stores as Taylor appears on the news, at book stores, as well as at pet-related charities. During Taylor’s recent visit to an animal-aid agency there was a severe cold-snap. The cold weather caused increased demands on the organization’s services. Animals were suffering, as the agencies’ pet food supplies were stretched to the breaking-point.

Taylor’s publisher, Wood Lake Publishing, called Darcy Bomford, owner of Darford Industries for help. Bomford personally sent 23 cases of their new holistic dog biscuit product.  The much-needed donation arrived the next day to help the organization and the animals weather the storm.”

The author loves to help pets and all animals, and hopes his book will help humans too.  “I love doing this,” says Taylor. “Writing The Spirituality of Pets helped me bring into focus the sacred bond between humans and the natural world. Hopefully this book will encourage people to see that God cares about the natural environment as well as about humans.”

Taylor’s book is not just about house pets, but also about the value of the natural habitat. “My mission,” he says, “is to get people to connect with the wonder of animals and to help them see the beauty in all things, in all beings.”

Taylor’ book is available at bookstores. Ask them to special order if it’s not in stock. You can also visit Borders, Barnes and Noble, or order online at  www.woodlake.com or telephone 1-800-663-2775 (rush shipping is available).
