DestinationVillas Posts Storm Advisory as Noel Heads Toward Bahamas and Florida

Tropical storm Noel is swirling toward the Bahamas and threatens worsening storm conditions as it heads toward Dearfield Beach, Florida. The storm swept away the entire village of Piedra Blanca in the Dominican Republic yesterday.

As of 5 a.m. this morning Noel’s storm center was 115 miles southwest of Nassau Bahamas and only 170 miles southeast of Miami Florida. The storm is expected to head northeast and out to sea but not before potentially reaching hurricane strength and creating rough surf and seas.
