Oceanview Publishing Announces Spring 2008 Releases

Ipswich, Massachusetts-based Independent Publisher Will Release Three New Books in Spring 2008

Oceanview Publishing announces the forthcoming publication of three Spring 2008 titles.  Oceanview will release St. Barts Breakdown by Don Bruns on March 1, 2008, The Deal by Adam Gittlin on May 1, 2008, and Rabbit in the Moon by Deborah and Joel Shlian on June 1, 2008.

Oceanview’s first Spring 2008 title release is St. Barts Breakdown by award-winning novelist Don Bruns, the fourth novel in Bruns’ series featuring rock and roll journalist Mick Sever.

In St. Barts Breakdown (ISBN: 978-1-933515-12-0, $24.95, March 1, 2008) Mick Sever’s latest assignment– interviewing music legend Danny Murtz in glorious St. Barts – may be his last. Seems Murtz, known for producing a string of hits, is a suspect in a string of disappearances.  And if Murtz has his way, Mick will only need a one-way ticket to paradise. With its finely tuned plot and off-the-charts action, St. Barts Breakdown is a rocking, rolling, and riveting read.

Oceanview’s second Spring 2008 release, The Deal,  is written by Manhattan commercial real estate executive Adam Gittlin.

The Deal (ISBN: 978-1-933515-13-7, $23.95, May 1, 2008) introduces protagonist Jonah Gray. A cutthroat, rainmaking real estate executive, Jonah Gray has it all. Or at least he had it all until a friend presents Jonah with the deal of a lifetime. Real estate is all about location, location, location. But this deal is about deception, duplicity, and death.  Intricate, edgy, and intense, The Deal moves faster than a prime property in a hot market

Oceanview’s final Spring 2008 release is Rabbit in the Moon written by acclaimed novelists Deborah and Joel Shlian.  Rabbit in the Moon (ISBN:  978-1-933515-14-4, $23.95, May 1, 2008) introduces Dr. Lili Quan. To honor her mother’s dying wish, Lili reluctantly sets out for China. On this incredible journey, Lili discovers the grandfather she believed had died years ago – a man with his own remarkable discovery: the secret to long life. As his only living relative, Lili’s life is in jeopardy. A rich tapestry of suspense, intrigue, and discovery, Rabbit in the Moon is a moving and miraculous story about finding hope – and finding home.
