Amy Winehouse shocked over winning award

Winehouse managed to get out an “umm” and “thanks” before walking off stage. “She clammed up,” said Michael Stipe, who presented the award, “she had a moment there and didn’t say anything, which is a little sad.”

Winehouse has been facing difficulties over the past month. The troubled singer and her husband Blake Fielder Civil were recently arrested on drug charges. According to reports Winehouse was forced to ditch her United States tour as she is banned from entering the country since the arrest.
