Country Music Television Launches ‘Duets’ Competition Show
Country Music Television (CMT) has ordered a total of 11 episodes of a duet themed music competition show.
The upcoming duets show which is entitled ‘Can You Duet?’ will debut as a weekly hour long series in the spring 2008.
The show is reported to be produced by FremantleMedia North America which is the company behind "American Idol" and "
"We're looking for the next Johnny Cash and June Carter, the next Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, the next Big & Rich or the Judds," said Eugene Young, which is the chief creative officer at FremantleMedia.
